Mr. Mamidipudi Ravindra Vikram

Advisory Board

Vikram had his early education in VR High School, Nellore. He graduated as a BSc & LLb from Osmania University.a trainee in Fraser & Ross, Chartered Accountants, Chennai and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in May 1980. In his professional career, Vikram joined his family firm of Chartered Accountants, M.Anandam & Co www.anandam.in (estd by his father M.Anandam) in 1980. During the four decades of his work as a Partner, he transformed the firm from a largely tax advisory services firm to a leading Audit and Corporate Advisory services firm. He was earlier a Director of Indian Bank and Indian Overseas Bank as a Chartered Accountant Director. He was also a nominee of the RBI on the Bank of Rajasthan Ltd . Presently, he is Chairman of ASM Technologies Ltd (ASM), Bengaluru, a leading Engineering Services company. He is an Independent Director of T.I.M.E which is India’s largest MBA and Engineering Entrance Exam training institution. He is also an Independent Director of 12 other companies including Facebook India, Chettinad Cements, GVPR Engineers. Shirdi Sai Electricals and GTN Industries.

Apart from educational achievements, Mr. Vikram is the Managing Trustee of M.Venkatarangaiya Foundation (www.mvfindia.in). MVF is known nationally and internationally for its pioneering work fighting child labour and has mobilised more than a million children to schools, in three decades of its work.

From creating The New York Times’ archives to powering 30+ global media monitoring firms deliver time-critical media content, Ninestars today is a leader in content digitization. Gopal founded Ad2pro in 2006 to address the creative tech and services requirements of world’s leading brands and media companies. In 2017, he co-founded Madras Global, which was recently acquired by Deloitte Digital.

Gopal is driven by the potential of digital transformation at scale for businesses across industries. He is an active participant in forums relevant to content tech and has also been a speaker and panelist as a thought leader. He is also a Member of Business Board – World Innovation and Change Management Institute.

Dr Shariq Nisar

Dr Shariq Nisar is a well-recognised name in the Indian finance industry. After completing his PhD in Economics from Aligarh Muslim University in 2003, he moved to Mumbai and did a course on Capital Markets from the University of Mumbai. During the last two decades, Dr Shariq has served and consulted some of India’s top brands in the finance industry such as Bombay Stock Exchange, National Stock Exchange, GICRe, Tata Asset Management, Taurus Asset Management and many others. He continues to be on the Boards of various companies.

Having made a pioneering contribution to the Indian finance sector Dr Shariq turned his attention towards academia when he joined the Harvard Law School as a Senior Visiting Fellow in 2013. During his stint at the Harvard Law School, he interacted and exchanged views with some of the most recognised names in academia such as Nobel laureates Professor Amartya Sen, Professor Mohammed Younus, Prof. Samuel Hays, Prof. Vogel E Frank, Prof. Noah Feldman, Prof. Shahab Ahmad, etc. He audited a course on Current Topics in Financial Regulation under renowned Professor Howell Jackson.

Dr Shariq Nisar is a recipient of Skoch Digital Inclusion Award 2011; Editor’s Choice Award 2018 from Mid-Day Media and IFFSA International Award, 2016 for his contribution to the Indian finance industry. In 2020 he received the Bharat Inclusion Research Fellowship from CIIE-IIM Ahmedabad.
